ON the THIRD DAY of CHRISTMAS………….

A cold wintery day here today. A nice drive out to Loch Lomond via Helensburgh, a bit of retail therapy, for Christmas of course, and a nice lunch by a lovely warm fire was just what was required after a blustery walk.

Coming home to a cosy house was most welcome. Unfortunately a real log fire isn’t possible but the effect of a “fake fire” has a warming effect too although nothing could beat the real thing. We settled down and I spent some time flicking through an abundance of Christmas magazines, thanks to Readly·https://gb.readly.com/ Check it out. I love it.

Brought Hector down from top of unit and settled him into his Christmas setting. Been the first bit of festive fun I’ve put up since he joined us a couple of years ago. Will have a few bits and pieces join him over the next couple of days, but I’ve made that all important start.

Enjoy your evening everyone.
